Yes — we take the guesswork out of airport transfers by ensuring a driver is available and on time for every pickup. This means our drivers sometimes sacrifice other work to guarantee they are there when you need them. It is a premium service without the premium price.
We recommend booking at least 24 hours in advance to guarantee availability, though we accept bookings up to 1 hour before pickup where drivers are available. For peak travel periods (school holidays, Christmas, Easter), booking 3 to 5 days ahead is advisable. Early morning transfers (4am to 6am) tend to fill up fastest.
Yes, every driver on our platform holds a valid Private Hire Driver Licence issued by a UK local authority (such as Liverpool City Council or Sefton Council). All drivers undergo enhanced DBS checks and must carry comprehensive hire and reward insurance. We verify all documents before any driver can accept their first booking.
We monitor all inbound flights in real time. If your flight is delayed, we automatically adjust your driver arrival time — there is no need to call us. We include up to 60 minutes of free waiting time for airport pickups, so your driver will be there when you land and clear customs.
Yes. You can book a one-way or return transfer through our website. Return bookings often work out cheaper per journey. Simply enter your outbound and return details when booking, and we will arrange both legs for you.
Good To Go Travel does not provide child seats. As our drivers are self-employed private hire operators, they are not legally required to supply child seats. However, if you are travelling with your own child seat, we are happy to store it during your journey — particularly useful if you are booking a return trip with us.
We offer a range of vehicles to suit different group sizes and budgets: Saloon (up to 4 passengers), Estate (4 passengers with extra luggage space), MPV (up to 6 passengers), Executive (premium saloons for business travel), and Minibus (up to 8 passengers). All vehicles are licensed, insured, and regularly cleaned.
We accept card payments online at the point of booking. A deposit secures your transfer, with the remaining balance collected by your driver. We accept all major credit and debit cards. Cash payments to the driver can also be arranged for the balance.
Yes. Cancellations made more than 24 hours before pickup receive a full refund of any deposit paid. Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee. Please check our terms and conditions for full details.
