Terms and Conditions

    These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the supply of private hire vehicle (PHV) airport transfer services provided by Good To Go Travel ("we", "us", "our") to you ("you", "the Customer") when you make a booking via our website www.goodtogotravel.co.uk or through any other channel we operate.

    By making a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms.

    1. About us

    Good To Go Travel is operated by its proprietors, Richard Mercer and Steven Mercer. We arrange licensed private hire vehicle journeys across the North West of England.

    2. Services

    We arrange pre-booked private hire journeys to and from Manchester Airport, Liverpool John Lennon Airport and other destinations across the North West of England. All journeys are carried out by licensed PHV drivers in licensed vehicles. We do not accept on-street hails; all journeys must be pre-booked.

    3. Bookings

    A booking is formed only when we send you a confirmation email containing a booking reference. The information you give us at the time of booking, including pickup address, destination, date, time, passenger count and luggage, forms the basis of the contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of this information.

    For airport pickups, you must provide your flight number so that we can monitor the flight and adjust timing where reasonably possible.

    4. Price and payment

    4.1 Quotation

    The price shown at the time of booking is the total price for the journey as described. Prices include VAT where applicable.

    4.2 Deposit

    A non-refundable deposit is taken at the time of booking via our payment processor, Stripe. The deposit secures the booking and confirms vehicle allocation.

    4.3 Balance

    The remaining balance is payable in cash to the driver at the end of the journey, unless we have agreed another payment method with you in writing. It is your responsibility to have the correct balance available; drivers may not carry change for large notes.

    4.4 Extra charges

    Additional charges may apply for: waiting time beyond the free waiting period, diversions or additional stops, soiling of the vehicle (including but not limited to cleaning fees up to £150), and tolls or parking where incurred at your request.

    5. Waiting time

    For airport arrivals, we provide 45 minutes of free waiting time from the time your flight lands. For all other pickups, we provide 10 minutes of free waiting time from the booked pickup time. Thereafter a waiting charge applies at the rate advised at the time of booking.

    6. Luggage

    The number and size of luggage items must be declared at the time of booking. Standard allowance per passenger is one large suitcase and one piece of hand luggage. Excess luggage, bulky items (e.g. bicycles, golf bags, ski equipment) and child seats must be pre-arranged and may attract a supplement or require a larger vehicle.

    7. Passenger conduct

    You agree that you and your party will:

    • Not consume food, hot drinks or alcohol in the vehicle without the driver's permission;
    • Not smoke, vape or use any illegal substance in the vehicle;
    • Wear seatbelts at all times;
    • Not behave in a threatening, abusive or unlawful manner towards the driver or other road users;
    • Ensure children are appropriately restrained in line with UK law.

    Drivers reserve the right to refuse carriage or terminate a journey where a passenger's conduct poses a safety risk, and no refund will be due in such cases.

    8. Changes to bookings

    You may request changes to your booking (time, address, passenger or luggage count) by contacting us as soon as possible. We will use reasonable efforts to accommodate changes but cannot guarantee availability. Material changes may require a new quotation.

    9. Cancellations and refunds

    Cancellations, refunds and no-show charges are governed by our separate Cancellation and Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. A copy is available on our website.

    10. Our liability

    We will carry out the service with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.

    Subject to the above, our total liability arising out of or in connection with a booking is limited to the total price paid for that booking. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including missed flights, connections, events or accommodation, except where such loss is caused by our own fault.

    You are responsible for allowing sufficient time for check-in and security at the airport. Whilst we plan pickup times carefully, we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, accidents or other events outside our reasonable control.

    11. Lost property

    Please check the vehicle before leaving at the end of your journey. Items found by drivers will be logged and held for 28 days. You may reclaim items by contacting us; return by post is at your cost.

    12. Complaints

    If you are unhappy with any part of the service, please contact us at info@goodtogotravel.co.uk within 14 days of the journey. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 3 working days and respond in full within 14 working days.

    13. Data protection

    We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on our website and forms part of these Terms.

    14. Governing law

    These Terms and any dispute arising out of them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

    15. Changes to these Terms

    We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your booking is the version that applies to that booking. The current version is always available on our website.
